easter glory

So easter came....and left..unbelievable. I know I dwell about this every single day but I just can´t help it! Time flies! The last week was fantastic! One of my oldest and best friends in this world came down to Malmö for the weekend with her 2 children to visit. I haven´t seen Mimi or the kids since I was home last time and this was their first time at mine and Mereds appartement!

We started out our Easter together at Espresso house with Albin having fika to wait for little Tessie to finish work. When she did we picked her up and went to ICA maxi to buy food for the weekend. Albin was incharge of Friday nights dinner and he decided on *drumrolle* PANCAKES!!! Here is Tessie mulit tasking. See how she´s got not one, not two, but THREE frying pans at the same time AND whipping the cream! That´s what I call a REAL chef. See Molli! She can cook!

Then on Saturday night, Mimi and the boys went for dinner at her uncles house that lives outside of Malmö where they were staying and Tessans friend, Totte, who is from Sigtuna but has become, like the rest of us, a Malmöit. Only he lives outside Malmö in a town called Lund. We had a really nice Easter dinner, played games and drank wine.....DIDN´T WE???!!??

Then on Sunday the sun was shining, she sky was blue and as always in Malmö the winds were blowing as it was a hurrican coming :=) But we, me, Mimi and Oscar decided to hit Västra Hamnen for some more fika....

Then in the evening, Milan was playing against Juventus and this is how much we saw of Mered during dinner.....

Things that makes me happy: finding my sisters name on an apple........................................ and things that makes me sad: waking up to blue sky and sunshine and decides to go for a walk and the snow isn´t coming from the sky but blowing from left to right.......

Weekend update

Sunday night and ofcourse football is on the tv so I´ll take the chance to update you on my oh so very exciting weekend. :=)

Friday...hmmm. can´t really remember what I did Friday. Couldn´t have been anything important then I guess....that´s so wierd! did I go to the gym? no, did I work? hmmm, no. Sorry, don´t know. Anywho... yesterday was Saturday. Me and my co-workers had set-up a sales event at "Triangeln köpcenter" here in Malmö to promote the gym. Me, Linda, Zahra and Cecilia went there after work to sell contracts, have a competition where you could win up to 100 days of free training and health consultations. we had a lot of fun. Saturday is such a shopping day in Sweden. My God there was alot of people there.

In the evening it was time for Swedens biggest event of the year. Schlager festivalen! Every year there´s a singing competition where you vote for the best performance and the person/group gets sent to the Eurovision song contest which this year is held in Belgrad. The evening was spent at Bibbi´s house with chips, dip and coka. The ultimate Swedish snack for any major event on TV :=)

And today, Sunday, I woke up, had breakfast, went to the studio to have a spring clean, went to the gym were Tessie works and and had an AMAZING work out, sun bed, massage and now I´m at home with Mered waiting for the STOPID football to finish so we can watch Prison break!

My God, this week went fast. Feel like I say that every week but especially this week went by just.....*snapping fingers*...like that:=) I didn´t really do anything special besides working and going to the gym. Yesterday, which was Thursday I was of so me and Tessie first went to the gym for a Body Pump class at lunch. Then we went home and had a "spring clean". Tessie got super powers from the gym and is here showing of her newly found super hero powers.....

Then I had promised her to sit as a hair model for her at her school. She goes every Thursday night and some weekends. Yesterday they were supposed to be creative and do a country and she did Japan and did the Geisha style on my head. I looked soooo pretty

Then all the models had to switch places so they could practise on other types of hair. The next stylist had to to one of our senses. My stylist got taste. So she made my head look like.............*drumrole*.......CHOCOLATE!!!!

The third stylist was a guy and by this time they had to make the models out of their favourite song. I have no idea who the person he was trying to make me look like was but some singer with a red stripe coming thru his bangs. He made a female version of it and I thought it was really cool.

And today, Friday, Mered and I went on a "fixing spree". First we went to "Kakelpoolen" to get some inspiration for re-modeling our kitchen. We found a beautiful moss green tile that we are going to order. Then we went to IKEA to have coffee and by new spot lights for our bedroom.


Then it was time to head over to Bibbi´s place. I bought extentions last time I was in Stockholm and she put them in today.


She is so awsome. She´s studying to become a hairdresser and she´s gona be an amazing one! She´s got talent! Better recongize where you heard it first! W.O.R.D!

Then Mered came to pick me up and we went shopping and I.C.A. Maxi. Had to buy some groceries and dinner. HOME MADE PIZZA BABY! Made all by Mered. Yes people you read it : MERED MADE THE PIZZA ALL BY HIMSELF! and it was damn good to. Half pepperoni with EXTRA CHEESE and half with ruccola and parmesan and olive oil. YUMMIE!!!

They just had to play today? I went to bed early yesterday because stopid Inter played and today, yes, ofcourse, Chelsea is playing. Stopid game. Grown men, chasing after a plastic ball.......mumble mumble.....

we just had the most amazing pancakes ever. E.V.E.R!!! With whipped cream and rasberry jam... I made the dough, Tessie fried them and Mered whipped the cream. Talk about team work!! YEA!

Now we´re off for coffee with A. and then home to sleep. Spinning again tomorrow morning. Yes, you read right. Spinning again! Now I´m on the road again....YEA!

Copenhagen

Friday was THE day. We have been waiting for this day to arrive all week! It was our Copenhagen day! After leaving Mered at the airport on Thursday night, me and Tessie decided to go and spend the day in Denmarks beautiful capital.

We took the train from Malmö and had our first stop at the airport. (that´s where Starbuck´s is:=) After double white mocca, Frappucionos, toasts and cinnamonrolls, we got on the train again and went into Copenhagen. Before we arrived at the station we saw a new shopping centre on our right side!

So when we got of the train we found a tourist center and ask what the fastest way to get to the mall was:=) Turned out it had JUST opend. Like 3 or 4 days ago! Man it was nice. Even though I´m on a restricted shopping diet at the moment because of our vacation to Florida in May it was still fun to walk aroun and try new clothes. I´ll say it again people, I really need to win the lottery :=(

After spending 2 hours at the mall we headed back into Copenhagen. For those of you that don´t know, Malmö - Copenhagen is about a 30 minute trainride. We spent the rest of the day drinking juice at "Joe´s and the juice", walking on "Ströget" (Copenhagens tourist shopping street) and glaring into the windows of Gucci and Louis Vuitton. Ofcourse the day ended at "Peder Oxe" which is our familys favourite restaurant in the whole world. Ok, and Oasis too;=)

It´s winter again

Hey people!
So, I got some e-mails recently asking what it is that I do nowdays. Well, I moved down to the south of Sweden to a town called Malmö in August after doing my Internship as I got offerd a job at the womens only gym called "Form och Figur". I started out as an instuctor and doing sales and has since January been the Manager. Since nobody seemed to know what I was up tp nowdays I took some picures from my studio. Womens only gyms are still pretty new in Sweden. In the States, were the idea originated from (called Curves) they have about 12,000 studios over there. In Sweden, Form och Figur have 4 studios at the moment but are expanding at a rapid pace.

The picture you see above is what I woke up to this morning; SNOW!! Can you believe it. Didn´t I say that it would probably go away? But no! It decided to stay, and now it´s shitty cold here..

And this is my lunch.....working infront of the computer. Do you people now realise what a fantastic exciting life I live? Well, I´m only working tomorrow and then me and Tessie are going to Compenhage as Mered is going up to Stockholm to visit friends for the weekend...

So typical March weather

This is how beautiful Malmö is in the morning. I went to work at 8.30am and the sun was shining and the sky was blue...Guess what, it´s snowing now. It´s like God decided to use "Head and shoulders" to get rid of all his dandruff...just falling and falling down....Bu the temprature is so mild that it´s not gonna be here when we wake up tomorrow anyways.

As I finished work a friend of mine from back home called. She was in town all day tomorrow for a show and she needed modells. She used to have her own hair salong in Sigtuna but now works for a big company in Sweden and tomorrow they´re here and she wanted to know if I knew someone that wanted to help out. Just my luck, I work tomorrrow. I don´t even have time to see her for lunch. It sucks.

Going for spinning tomorrow morning and then back to work. Tv is occupied tonight. Arsenal is playing agains....Milan? or something. Alot of yelling going on anyways so I´ll hang out here and then go to bed I think.

Yoga Sunday

For all you interested people out there that read my blogg; here are the resuls of my nails! I am very pleased! Next time I´m going for green. As you can see I´m in a green period right now. Such a nice colour. Spring time! Love it!

Today is Sunday and I´m the only one that is off. I was so looking forward to it yesterday but as Sunday arrived its quite sad not having people around you. Well, it´s only for a couple of hours. At 4pm I´m going for my yoga class and then we´re going to the movies. Honestly, I can´t remember what it´s called but I´ll let you know tomorrow....

Another day at its end

Thursday night. Another working week is coming to its end. This week has been crazy. So much at work, working out and loads and loads of coffee. Started out my day with breakfast with Tessie at Espressohouse as we were supposed to go to the gym for a Bodypum class. But the sun was shining and the birds were singing so we decided to go for a walk. A walk that ended with shopping. Ha ha ha, so not that much excersice.

Then I headed of to the studio were Linda and Birgitta waited. We were doing a promoting for the gym at the shoppingmall that we are attached to. So we stood there for a couple of hours before heading back inside to get some work done. The studio is closed between 1pm and 4pm so we always get alot of sales and promotion done during those hours.

At 4pm we opend the doors and it was supposed to be my day off but because Linda had a seminar I decided to come in and cover for her. But befor the seminar started I had one and a half hour to kill so I decided to work out with our members. They absolutely loved it! They are so used to see us behind the reception or doing personal training with other members and its very rare that we get time to acctually train ourselves. But since I was off and there, I might as well do the best of the situation:=) I had such a good time.

Then I went home to my poor boyfriend that went home from work today because he´s sick so he went to bed early....just watched some tv and relaxed. Tessie came home from school and we had some fruitsalad and now everyone´s sleeping. Believe it or not but I HAVE A DAY OFF TOMORROW! I´m going to get my nails done at "Lack och Lugg" and then.....I acctually don´t know. I´ll try and take some pictures!!! yeay!!!!

Fantastic Wednesday

It´s now 8.45am and I`ve just arrived at work.

My alarm rang at 5.50 and I draaaaagged myself out of the couch. Yes, the couch. My dear, sweet, loving and beautiful boyfriend snored like a dog so after 45 minutes of twisting and turning I decided that it was time. Time to sleep somewhere else. So I ended up on the couch.....Well, it worked. Even though I didn´t get that many hours of sleep I still managed to get up, go to spinning, shower, sitt in the sauna for almost 20 minutes! go to work, vacuum, go to Esperssohouse to buy breakfast and here I am. Enjoying the very best of my Wednesday with a fresh cup a joe´s and a scone...........

I reallly really REALLY need to win the lottery..........

Back in Malmö

21.43 and we´re back in Malmö! We left Sigtuna at 13.15 and stopped at my old job in Linköping, Steve´s coffee, and had lunch/dinner and then stopped once more in Jönköping at "Coffeehouse by George" for lattes. Yummy!

So now we´re finally home and are going to watch a movie. Power walk in the morning and then....off to the studio!

Last night in Sigtuna

After eating moms delicious chicken, me and Tessan decided to go down to the local restaurant/bar to meet up with some of her friends. Dad drowe us down since it was very windy. Some girl had her B-day dinner and we all went over to the lounge to have some drinks.

Mered and Bibbi were supposed to have a cousines night out in STHLM but ended up just the 2 of them at Helene´s krog having dinner and wine. After a couple of hours Mered came to Blå to join us afer dropping Bibbi of at his parents house. (For those of you who doesn´t know, Bibbi is Mereds cousine)

At the moment I´m sitting in my parents kitchen waiting for Mered to come and pick me and Tessan up so we can drive ALL THE WAY BACK TO MALMOEEEEEEE. First coffee and then about 6 or 7 hours in the car. Yeay! Thank God for good company......

Sigtuna weekend

Hey people! Guess what! I´m back on the web blogging again! I know you´ve heard it before. I got a suckerpunch yesterday when I went to see friends that I suck keeping promises about blogging. So now I´m here again, making yet another promise to start blogging. Since I have SUCH an interesting life I mean...ha ha ha.

Anyways, the reason why I started blogging again is because yesterday I made a promise to Mimi and Lina that I would start again. Well, Mimi shouldn´t be talking, just because she JUST started blogging again after....hmmm...let me see.... A YEAR! ha ha ha. No but serioulsy, I love reading about other people and their lives so maby people want to read about mine.....

So I´ll start again. Friday, me Mered and Tessans started our road trip leaving Malmö at 7.40 in the morning. We were supposed to visit Mereds cousine that just had a baby but we found out as we were on our way up that she had a c section,( I have no idea how to spell that but you know what I mean)

She´s isn´t coming home until Sunday night so we won´t be able to see her or the baby. Next time....

We arrived in Märsta at 2 pm and decided to go to Bruno´s for a little tan. There are NO good tanning salons in Malmö. Christian really should start Bruno´s down there to! Then Mered dropped us of at our parents house in Sigtuna before he drove to his parents house.

Dinner with mom and dad and then I was off to Mimi with a bottle of wine. I haven´t seen her since I moved in July so we had alot of catching up to do. When I got there we called Lina over and we all ended up drinking wine a talking old memories. I love meeting my old friends. It´s like I never left. Mimi is getting married on April 10th so next time I see her she´ll be a married woman. Ha ha ha, you house wife you :=)

Today me and Tessan went to Uppsala to meet some of my old classmates. J is pregnant and she looked absolutely FANTASTIC! She´s only gained like 7kg and it´s only on her belly. She still goes to the gym and eats healty. I wanna be like her when I´m pregnant. It was really nice seeing all the girls again. I haven´t seen most of them since I finished school in...I think May! Wow, that long! I promised that it wouldn´t be that long until I would meet them again.

Then we took the train to Stockholm so I could buy hair to make new extentions when I come back to Malmö. Bibbi said she´s gonna do it on me some time next week. Yeay!!!! Coffee at our beloved Espessohouse and then the train back home to Sigtuna again..

At the moment I´m getting my hair done by lovely stylist. Not that I´m doing anything special tonight but she´s practising.....For school that is...

New York here I come!

Now it´s finally booked! My ticket for New York!!!! Yeay!

I leave on the 19th of December which is like tomorrow! Ok, not really but it feels like it!

I go from Copenhagen which is the nearst airport to Dublin and I have to wait there for about 4 hours before going to New York! I´m so excited to visit my sister! She´s been there for about 3 months or so. I´ll be there until the 22nd and we both fly to Jacksonville, Florida to my parents house to spend the Holidays there! It´s gonna be soooo much fun! All the sisters gathered again!

What else has happend....hmmmm....don´t know really. I went out last weekend. We went to Buddah Bar here in Malmö which had a club called "Honey" on Friday night. SUCH a good DJ, don´t know who he is but the music was fantastic. I wish I had pictures but as usual I forgot my camera!

Then on Saturday me and Mered went out for dinner at "Mando" and then for movie. We saw "American gangster". SUCH a good movie. You gotta go see it!

On Sunday we went to Bibbi´s parents house in Lund for Ethiopian food. I love it! We´ve decided that we´re all gonna have dinner together once a month and me and Mered, well ok I, am going to bake something. So this time I made "kärleksmums". Yummy.

and today it´s Wednesday and I´m in Helsingborg as usul. Papi is coming to visit on Friday and I´m OFF TOMORROW!!! Yeay!!!!

Now we´re finally starting to make a real home of our appartement! Today we went to IKEA to buy various forms of furniture to complete what we started about 3 months ago. Like now, we finally have light in our hallway! ha ha ha! We can acctually see what we have in our closet and see our selves in the mirror before we go to work in the morning!

Other than that we didn´t do that much this weekend...Mered is on his way home from the airport right now. His brother, Yohannes is staying the week because they have "höstlov". Can´t even remember last time I was off a whole week last.....

Yester we went to Lund to visit Bibbis mom and dad because it was both their B day´s this week. We ate Ethiopian food and cheesecake which I made....

Soon I´m off to bed since tomorrow is Monday and that means......SPINNING!!!!

Monday blue

Ever felt like Sundays are the worst day since you know the weekend is over and you have yet another week of work work and then some more work infront of you? That´s me, every single Sunday. But when Monday finally arrives and I walk into the studio I feel great. I really really love my job. I think I am one of the acctually lucky people in this world that really loves what they do for a living. Most of my friends complain each and everyday about their boss, their schedul or their co-workers but I´m just happy.

Other than beeing happy :=) today I didn´t do much. We were super busy at the studio today and my boss took me and Linda out for lunch and meeting and then coffee at Espressohouse. Nice:=)

Now, I´m headed for the couch ( is that the way to spell it? hmmm, doesn´t look right) anyways and in 40 minutes it´s CSI!!! Hopefully I´ll get my camera back tomorrow (BIBBI) and I´ll post some pictures. Ha ha ha ha.
