hairday!

This morning I went to my mother-in-laws house to meet Bibbi (Mered´s cousine). She said to be there at 10 am but were was everyone when I showed up? SLEEING!! When you tell a Swedish person to meet you a certain hour you can be sure that that person will be there. ESPECIALLY when that person went to school in Switzerland. An Ethiopian on the other hand will be 1-3 hours late and not understand why your´re angry. Ha ha ha, but I can´t be angry at an Awoke. Ha ha ha.

Anyways, so Bibbi did the extentions and then we drow to Sigtuna to "Catto" which is my favourite hairdresser in the world! Now I look amazing!!

Then we went for coffee at a place called "Myntet" in Sigtuna where my friend Emelie works. Tomorrow it´s P.A.R.T.Y!!!

Sickla

Me and my mom have a new favourite place! We found it last week and it´s just outside of Stockholm called "Sickla Köpmnakvarter" which is big shoping center! My mom has a friends that went there once and loved it! So last week when we went there we found this awsome restaurant which I can recommend to everyone! It´s got organic food that they make everyday! Everything from lunh to cake to bread! It´s wonderful!! I love it!!! And we found our new favourite interior decorating shop called "Indori". The people that own it tours around the world to find special things that they decide to import to Sweden but only one or two pieces of every item. My mom bought this beautiful wood thing to put on the wall. Too bad I will never be rich enough to ever buy anything from that shop. Ha ha ha ha.

Valborg in Rosersberg

Last day of April is the "day of the big bon-fire" in Sweden. In other terms means that every living sould in Sweden is getting drunk. It´s usually a day for all university students but it´s become a day for everyone else too.

To me (this day which is also called "Valborg") Valborg is always celebrated with a big BBQ with friends because my boyfriends cousine celebrates his B-day. So yesterday we went to Patriks house in Rosersberg wich is about a 10 minute drive from our place. Usually it´s very difficult to get all of our friends togther at the same time but yesterday we acctually managed! Unbelievable!

The best part about the evening was that I managed to get a clip of two of my friends "trying" to dance and I put it on youtube. Ha ha ha ha! By the way; this is NOT how we dance in Sweden

Beautiful Sunday

Yesterday was one of the best days in a long time. You know how Sundays are all about lazying around, going for a beautiful walk in the sunshine, drinking a latte on the balcony and eating "bullar"?. Well that was my Sunday yesterday and I spent it with one of my oldest and best friends, Tessan. It was such a nice day.

and then I had to go to work........

Last night we had a party at Marajiahs place to celebrate that we finished our economics course. It was supposed to be me, Marajiah and Helena but Joanna, Em, Pärra, Danne, Johan (and his roomie Stefan), Per and his friend Samuel showed up. We had bought a liter of vodka that we thought was gonna be more then enough but when we woke up this morning we realized that it was empty! Have to say then also that all the people that came had brought beer, wine and more vodka! I can´t belive how this happend. Well my head could probably explain it this morning. Ha ha ha ha. But we had a really really nice time!

Now I´m about to hit she shower then off to my parents house to watch "Stina".

Weekend and the sun won´t stop shining in Sweden. Life is wonderful!

Yesterday I went to the local pub to see me friend Tessan. We had a couple of drinks and then another of our friends, Baggy came along. He was on his way to his mothers house for dinner but decided to stay and have a beer with us. 10 minutes later, another friend, Christian, showed up. He and Baggy are neighbours and they live on the same street as me.

A couple of drinks later Mered came from worked and joined us. The whole night just came together so nice. I don´t understand why I´m not more spontanious? Just haning with friends, chatting, drinking and enjoying the weather!

This morning wasn´t as nice thoug. ha ha ha. I went to the gym for some dance aerobic and then for a looooong looooong walk in the sunshine. It´s gotta be like 1 million degrees outside!

2 more hours and I have to go to work!!!!

Back to school today. Economy. Not really my favourit subject but soon it is all over! Over I tell you! Doing a project with Linn and Marajiah that is due in about 2 week and after that it´s the personal training course! That is going to be so much fun!

After school today me, Marajiah and Helena (picture above) went for coffee at "Barista" behind our school and as we´re sitting there, chatting away, a couple of reporters from one of the news pappers showed up and asked if one of us wanted to be "student of the week" for their papper!!!! And you know me! I don´t say no to get my mug shown in the papper! Hello papparazzi!!!! I don´t know if it´s gonna be on the webb. If not I´ll cut it out and scan it in and put it on the blogg. Apparently it´s for next week! Yeay!

EASTER!!!

Easter went by quickly this year. Probably because none of my sister were at home this year. Every year we go "egg hunting" for our easter eggs out in our parents garden. I know, I know, I AM 26 years old but it´s TRADITION people. You just don´t give those up. But since it was only me at home this year we decided not to have the hunt. Do your read this sisters? No egg hunt because of YOU TWO!!!! *angry eye*

So instead I went with my parents to buy stuff for the house. The are renovating what seems like every room (I think it IS every room). Then in the evening my mom made an amazing dinner with lamb and then we just watched some tv.

Today, Sunday, me and Mered went to his parents house for an Ethiopian easter lunch. My God, I don´t think I have to eat again until Tuesday or something. It was so good. Now we just got back from the movies. Saw Jim Carreys new movie called "the number 23". It was ok. Better to download then to spend you money going to the movies.

So that was my Easter. How was yours? Tomorrow is Monday and a holiday in Sweden so no school until Tuesday. Spring cleaning the house tomorrow and then Body Pump in the afternoon.

Yet another weekend went by. This one has been craaaazy fun! On Thursday night, Mereds cousine from Malmö, Bibbi (the one I lived with in Malmö) came up. So this weekends has been about partying, eating junk food and watching movies! It´s been soooo nice!

And this morning we woke up to the sunnies day ever! and it´s so warm outside that we went for coffee at the airport and sat OUTSIDE without freezing!

So now it´s all about cleaning and doing laundry. Man I have alot of laundry. But I´m off tomorrow so I´ll do it then. (talk about procrastinating) ha ha ha ha

First day back at school. It was ok. Nothing special. It was really nice seeing all my friends again after such a long time. We left for Internship in December before Christmas and everyone has been doing different things and been in different cities so it´s been difficult to see eachother.

So we started out with Economics and the course is for 5 weeks. The in May we´re doing the Personal Training course.

So many things has happend since we last saw eachother. Both J and L moved, Jo gor engaged, T´s belly has grown so much (having a baby anytime!!!) H broke up with her boyfriend...

And then it´s me....nothing special happend. Ha ha ha.

Saturday I went for drinks with T which is one of my oldest and dearest friends. We´ve know eachother since way way way back and we´ve always kept in touch. She´s now a nurse and works in U but she´s moving back to her boyfriend again in June. We always have a nice time nomatter what we do or where we end up. I love you always....:)

So, again it´s Friday. It´s unbelievable how fast the weeks passes now when spring is here. Well, spring came and left again cuz now the weather is really crappy and cold in Sweden. Supposed to get nice on Sunday.

Today I went to Stockholm with my mom. Shopping. I had to buy a new white shirt for tomorrow. Doing the job for ICA (Sweden´s largest grocery chain) where I´m the project manager for the one in Sollentuna (suburb to Stockholm). Every ICA is having a huge event tomorrow all over Swden at the same time. It´s going to be so cool!

Going back to school on Monday I so don´t wanna! The only good thing is that we have the personal training educ. in May. I CAN´T WAIT! so excited. And my sissi is coming home in April, after Easter. (maby) I hope so. And Tessan, the other sissi is coming home in June! so exciting!!!

Heeeeey people!

Yes, I know I know, I havne´t been writing. I suck. I know. But from now in I PROMISE that I´ll try and write more often. I´ve started the last three weeks of my Internship which I was supposed to do at "Korpen" but intstead the guy that stared the "Form och Figur" (same gymchain that I worked for in Malmö) called me and offerd me a job! Nice! So since Saturday I´ve been in Täby ( which is about 3 miles from Stockholm) working for him.

The gym opend yesterday and it´s a big challenge to do sales and marketing when it´s your first time. But I have so much fun and I love it. I work with a girl called Linda that I love and we work great together.

Other than that not much has happend. My parents are in Brazil taking a cruise with Tessan (good for you assholes) ha ha ha. No, they deserve it.

And little Molli is fighting through her mid-term. I feel ya honey! Good luck!

Spoke to one of my very best friends yesterday, Dianna. She lives in Canada and I miss her alot alot alot. Haven´t seen her in a loooong time. We decided to meet up this summer in Portugal to see Monseybabe and her daugher Aicha and then go to London to visit Giselle that are going to be there aaaaall summer long because she´s HAVING A BABY!!! I´m so happy for her and Leo!

Well, that should summen everything up? I think? I´ll write more when I have the time! I promise!

Hey everyone!

I know I haven´t been writing for a while but I´ve been down in the south of Sweden, in Malmö, doing my Internship at a place called "Form och Figur" which is a girls only gym. In the States and Canada it´s called "Curves". I´ve been here for about 3 weeks and I LOVE IT! I don´t want to go back to school! And I really don´t want to move back to Märsta. Only reason I want to go home it to see my baby. I miss him alot! Haven´t seen him during the hole time I´ve been here.

So far during this Internship I´ve been offerd 2 jobs and I still have one more Internship at Korpen before I go back to school!

Anyways, I have new friends here and I would so love to live here. We´ll see what happends when I finish school!

I´ll write more when I come home next week!

Wored again yesterday. First lunch at Pompeji and then dinner in Scandinavia at the hotel. We had about 90 guests that got more and more drunk by the hour. In the first picture you see Linda and Niklas who are two of the chefs preparing the desserts and in the second picture is Jenny.

Working dubble shifts today and tomorrow aswell and then it´s weekend!!!

Anybode else but me that looooooves Mondays? No, me neither. I don´t know what it is. Even though I´m only at work for 4 hours during lunch it´s the worst feeling in the world! At least I didn´t have to work evening today. Sometimes I work dinner at one of the airport hotels here in Stockholm at the Bar and Bistro. I love that place. The guests are all happy because they´re usually going on vacation and the team I work with are so sweet. If it wasn´t for going to school I would work there all the time. Tomorrow and Thursday I work dubble shifts so I won´t be writing anything then. Noting much that happends during the week anyways. Now, I´m going for spinning and core class and then it´s CSI!!!

Last night I went to my friend, Marajiah´s house in Uppsala for a dinner party with some other girls from our class. We haven´t seen eachother since we finished in mid December so it was so nice to see them again. We are currently on our 12 week Internship program and wont be going back to school until 26th of March. So anyway last nigh we had dinner at Marajiha´s place which followed with numerous drinks. Then Sandra drove us ( me, Marajiha, Linn and Madde) into town since she had to go up to work the next day. We ended up at a place called "Salu hallarna" which is during the day like a market place to buy fresh food but it´s inside. Don´t really know how to explain it but at night it turns out to be a huge nightclub with 3 floors with differnt types of music on all floors. No need to explain that we had such a nice night and come home at 4.40am and dove into bed.... "jag vill inte gå och lägga mig...." ha ha ha ha

In a way I´m glad my sister is leaving tomorrow cuz I don´t party as much as I do when she´s at home. YOU´RE A BAD INFLUENSE!!! Yesterday me, Tessan and Niklas went to Jonathans appartement for a drink before taking a taxi in to Old Town in Stockholm to "Sally´s" for dinner. Such good food!!! such good Applemartinis AND Lavazza coffee!!! Then we went to meet up with Linda and her boyfriend (I think his name is Marcus?) at "Ljungbergs" for more drinks. Bar was so nice, good music, big soft couches and HORRIBLE drinks!!! We must have had about 8 differents drinks and they were all disgusting!!! Even the strawberry daquairy! How can you possibly mess that up? On our way out I meet Kattis and Jonas that I used to work with at the Palace. I haven´t seen them in months so that was fun. Then we continued to "Snaps" and in the basement they had a really good club and by this time we were all so drunk that I don´t I´ve ever danced so much in my life. By three the club closed so we all went to McD for food and then took a cab home. I didn´t get to sleep until nearly 6am beacuse of my sweet boyfriends snooooring. Thanks alot!

Yesterday, me, Tessan, Mered, Jonathan and Niklas went for dinner at Niklas restaurant "Blå", down in Sigtuna. The food was soooo gooood. and what did we have to drink with it.....Applemartinis, ofcourse!!! After alot of chatting about standup comedy, movies and music we decided to go out. It was a really nice evening.

Good morning! Yesterday me and my sister went to the Roots concert in Stockholm at it was so cool! The music was great! I love seeing a band live and theese guys were so great on stage. After the show the singer, "Black Thought" came down and I got a picture with him. Mostly to make my boyfriend jeleous. Ha ha ha ha.

B day party!!!

Last night two of my friends, Mimi and Lina, had their B-day party with dinner and drinks. They had made a huge salladbuffé and made a cake that was soooo goooooood. After dinner it was games and drinks. Thank you guys for a really nice evening!!!!

Las nitght I went with my sister and some of her friends to Uppsala for dinner and drinks. First we went to a guy called Fredrik C. appartement to chek it out. He used to live in Sigtuna were we´re from but now he studies in Uppsala, like me! Then we went to an Italian restaurant called Il Forno to eat. And let me tell you it was so gooooooood!!!! Pizza and Cosmo´s are the best! Then we went to "Uppenbar" for some Applemartinis and then to "Rådhuset" for some cocktails...then my oh so nice boyfriend came and picked me up!!!!

I´m so booooooored!

This week everyday has been the same......sleeping, eating, going to the gym and studying. Major exam next Fridag....Health Economics. But on Friday we´re going for dinner in Uppsala and then going out so atleast I have someting to look forward too. I was gonna go to Norway today to see my grandmother and Eileen (a friend from Switzerland) but my plan didn´t quite work out so I´m going the first week-end of December instead.... Back to studying.....

Saturaday was my sisters B day but since she was on a flight home from Dubai we decided to make her dinner on Sunday night befor dad had to fly to Norway. Dinner was soooo nice. My mom mad lamb with potatoe gratäng ( in English.....? anyone...?) and for dessert she had bought this really nice cheese cake from RC in Sigtuna. We where thinking of you Molli........

Weekend update

This has been one of the best weekends in a looong looong time. Who would have known that Friday the 13th would turn out to be my lucky day! The whole day was perfect, from the gym at 7 am to going home from the club at 4 am. Me and some girls from the class went to the chocolate café after school in Uppsala to reflect over the past week. Ha ha, not really but it sounded good didn´t it? Then me and Maria went to buy some alcohol and bought pizza and went to her house where her boyfriend Ola was waiting. Then Em, Joanna and Madde came over and we drank aaaaallloooottt of alcohol and then we went to a bar in Uppsala called "Uppenbar". It´s such a nice club, only plays hip hop and rnb songs. No crap ( Boten Anna) ha ha ha ha. Yesterday I didn´t do much.Me and Mered went to McDonald´s and then home to watch tv and chill. Today I went to they gym and soon I´m going to my parents house for dinner. My sister came home from Dubai this morning and it was her B day yesterday so we´re gonna eat cake!!! Yeay!!!

today is the day of the cruise. The whole class is going on a booze cruise to the island between Sweden and Finland called "Åland". The boat leaves at 6pm tonight and we return tomorrow at 4pm. My family went to Dubai yesterday to visit Mulle. They better buy me a guess bag....;)

I´m telling you again people, it´s Monday tomorrow! How can this be....? This weekend went by so fast. Friday I worked at Steninge Palace (my old job) for a huge event. It´s a company that every year has their annually party at the Palace and they eat and get drunk. Same this year. I left at midnight and some of my co-workers were still there cleaning when I left. I had to drive somwone to the train so I got to go earlier! Thank you Lord.... Saturday my sister and mom came by after I accidentally told them I tried to bake. TRIED to bake people. I made banana muffins and let me just say they looked NOTHING like muffins. That´s all I have to say. Then me and Tessan were supposed to go into Stockholm to go for dinner with our cousines, Theo and Margaux, but Tessan didn´t feel well so we decided to stay home, watch movies and eat pizza and looooots of candy. School tomorrow. Now we´re starting a course in health ecenomics....this should be interesting...

yesterday morning me and Maraijah started our new life. One of the guys from our class, Daniel, has become our personal trainer and has set up a program for the two of us that we´re going to follow. Yesterday we started weightlifting, is it called that in English? Not sure. Anyways, and today I can´t but my bra on so I hope that´s a good sign. Ha ha, gonna get inshape for summer 2007. No more "Vass" ha ha ha ha Gonna go in to Stockholm now with my sister to do some shopping and then spinning tonight.

Is it really possible? How the hell can it be Monday again tomorrow? It was Monday just yesterday, wasn´t it? I don´t know where the days go and I don´t understand what I´m doing with them.... Conclusion; I don´t like Sunday evenings..... This weekend went really fast. Maby because Tessan is home. Friday, what did we do Friday? Oh yea, I was in school first and got my diploma for the "Hälsoprofilsbedömnings" course I finished, then I took the train home and mom and Tessan picked my up at the trainstation and we went to Kista Gallerian which is a big mall about a 30 minute drive from us. Tessan doesn´t have anything to wear (girls thing huh?) but hey, she lived on a ship for the past six months wearing uniform so I understand. But she didn´t find anything. Then we had a family dinner at our parents house, Saturday we went to the gym. Tessan and mom went to Pilates and I went to spinning and in the evening we went to our cousins house for dinner, Margaux turns 16 ( tomorrow) and it felt like "the Swedish anorexia club" had their annual meeting. My God, it is possible to be that skinny? None of them ate anything but when it was time for cake they all eat.....and went to the bathroom. Anyways, today I forced my family (moahahahahah) to school so I could try my new skills in healh "terror". ha ha ha. but I think they liked it. Then we went for lunch at Un!co and after coffee at my friends Marias café. Now I´m at home waiting for CSI to start and to wake up to a beautiful Monday morning. MOAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Hälsoprofilsbedömmare!!!!

This week we´ve started a course called "hälsoprofilsbedömmning" This is a Swedish patent on what you can call a health test. The man that invented this in the 1960 is acctually our teacher and he´s the best teacher I´ve ever had! Yes HIM people, better than Wharton and Gallagher. This man, Gunnar, has such a nice voice, explains in a way that even the dumbes retard can understan and this is one of our most imprtant courses we are taking this year. I´m so happy.
So, back to the course, in english we become kind of "certified health profilers" ha ham I´m getting so bad at enlish. Ha ha, remeber people that this is my own translation. But basically what we do is have an interview with a client, takes different tests such as; weight, height, bone weight, fat % and blood preasure. After the interview we do different types of test to see the clients physical status, either on a step board, running or on a ergonimic bicycle.

So after this week we are certified "hälsoprofilsbedömare" or "health profiler" ha ha ha, I crack myself up.

Tessan comes home on Thursday and I´m going on a booze cruise with the class on the 5th of October. Then I´ll show you pictures.

Hey people!

This week we stared training management in school and man is that fun! for two days now we have done nothing but exercise! We learn how to do exerciseing tests on eachother in order to do this on our clients in the future. It´s so cool. I feel so professional! Yesterday we had classes in fysiology and ran 3km. Today we did other test such as; Coopers test (3000 meters), step test and many more that I can´t evern remember the name of.

Hey people. Ok, so I suck at writing. We have all figured that out. I was upposed to upload a picture from Portugal but apparently my computer hates me so that won´t be happening. And I will stop destroying peoples Sundays. Ha ha. It´s true! I´ve gotten e-mails about that! Apparently people make themsalves a cup of coffee, has a cigarette ad then reads my blogg for the week. Ha ha ha, so therefore, I promise that I´m going to write more often.

This week I haven´t done that much. We´ve had a 2 week course in stress and on Wednesday we had our presentations which went really well. Our teacher was verry happy.

Friday night I went to Veronicas house for a cocktailparty. Emma and Tessa had their B days this week so we drank about a million of Cosmos and Appletinis.
Woke up Saturday morning (yesterday) sick so I stayed infront of the tv ALL DAY!!! watching the fifth season of "Americas next top model". Ha ha, I´m s sad.

Today i a really nice weather and Im still feeling half crappy so i´m staying in front of the tv today aswell. School tomorrow and exam on Friday.....

PORTUGAL!!!

I only have today (Friday) and tomorrow left to work before I go on vacation and I´m going to Lison to see Monica and Aicha!! I couldn´t go to London to she my darling Giselle cuz the tickets was too expensive so I´m going to Lison instead. I´m leaving on Sunday to be returning on Thursday and then I´m going to Söderhamn with Maria to visit Helena. Her parents has a summerhouse on an island in the north of Sweden to we´re going there for the weekend to drink wine, eat and just hang out. Then on Monday my sisters are coming home. Yes, both of them!!! It´s gonna be so much fun I can´t wait!!!!

This week has been really hectic. I´ve started helping my parents paint their house and at the moment it is 30 degrees in Sweden. We´ve never had this kind of heat ever before. Yesterday when me and my mom were coming back from pilates class it was 32.5 degrees and it was 6.30 pm!!! Unbelievable.

On Monday my sister Tessans ship ( Ociania, Regatta) docked in Stockholm for 3 days. So on Monday night in took the train in to Stockholm to meet her and some other crew member to go out and party. We stared the night at the Ice bar which is just what it sounds like. A bar fully made out of ice in the middle of Stockholm. For us Swedes it is madness to go in to a bar where you have to wear a jacket at minus 10 degrees in the middle of summer but hey, what don´t you do for tourists. Ha ha ha ha. Anyways, then we went to Café Opera which is a Bar/restaurant that has existet for years and years in Stockholm. My mom even worked there when she was younger. We had so much fun! So much alchol.....

The next day me, Mered and my parents went to Stockholm and got a visitors pass to go on the ship and let me tell you, oh my God it was nice. I wanna live on a boat!! I didn´t take any pictures but my sister did so I´ll post them as soon as I get them. Now I have to go to work. Yippi!! And it 10 am and about 28 degrees!
